MAZI is Los Angeles’ only independent Greek, Gay and Lesbian Association. MAZI is an organization that is dedicated to offer an alternative place to gather, meet and socialize together with many of the other Gay Greeks here in Los Angeles and others within the Gay Community in a safe and nonjudgmental environment.
Today’s MAZI is constantly coming up with ambitious new ideas and organizing more exciting events then ever before like our MAZI “MEET and GREEK” Mixers, Special Dinners, House Parties, quarterly Membership Meetings, MAZI’s returned to Gay Pride 2006, ( See Pictures Posted on the www.gaygreeksla.com <http://www.gaygreeksla.com> ) to see the MAZI Informational Taverna Pride 2006. Look out for spontaneous events like MAZI Movie Night and so much more.
MAZI is re-organized and re-vitalized with great new thing to do most months of the year and here for you all the time. MAZI is starting our seventh year staying true to the same important goals set in 1999: to enjoy, understand and present our Greek and Gay Greek culture to the community, provide social support for all Gay Greeks in or out of the closet, encourage positive connections with the large Greek-American community of L.A. by dispelling the myths about what it means to be Greek and Gay. MAZI is charting new roads and creating new goals for tomorrow, to be Out and Proud Gay Greeks - TOGETHER. So JOIN and get involved with a WHOLE NEW MAZI!
